I Hate Flying!

Yeah, well, I guess it's not really flying, but sitting there at FL370 heading for Boston in seat 19A without being able to see outside because they want you to pull the shades down so other people can watch the movies… well, that's definitely not flying. Urgh. Not my fave pastime. So no GA in CA for me for a while, but I'm tempted to say that if I get the time I'd like to try the GA in MA, but since The People Who Pay The Bills keep changing their minds about how long I'm out here (a week? ten days? three weeks?), that seems unlikely. But it would give me a new meaning to the term "Bay Tour", no?

Ooooh, a right-coast bay tour (as opposed to the left-coast variety)...sounds nice.

Hope you can hopen the shade on the return flight. I mean, really, not being able to look outside? That's just wrong! :-)

Doing the no coast tour to San Antonio and Indianapolis next week myself.

Now if we just had access to a 250knot pressurized aircraft from time to time.

Dav^H^H^H Sloppypilot-- a Pilatus PC12 would do nicely for trips like that, don't you think? :-)

Jack -- yeah, a Boston Bay Tour, rather different than the one we're used to. And they actually have weather out here... which I won't see on the way back due to those damn shades. No, it's not flying, that's for sure...
